Mandala Spaces

Utilizing the gifts of nature, the three iconic Mandala Spaces at Fivelements, Puri Ahimsa are built from largely from renewable organic materials, around robust bamboo frames with woven bamboo walls, polished bamboo floors and traditional alang-alang thatched roofs. The timeless and exotic design is in harmony with the environment and aesthetically beautiful. The shape of each Mandala Space resembles Gunung Agung, Bali's highest and most revered volcanic mountain and home to the holiest Mother Temple of Besakih. Each space embodies the vision of Fivelements, Learning to Love and Respect Life, and the central guiding philosophy, Tri Hita Karana.

Mandala Agung, the largest space, is an architectural representation of living in harmony with spirit, nature and one another. An enormous double spiral formation converges in the centre, and symbolises people from diverse origins, religions, cultures and ages, uniting in the spirit of Oneness and Love. A profound bamboo channel of light extends vertically from the top into the sky connecting humans with nature and with God.

We invite you to the Mandala Spaces, which are ideally suited for Sacred Arts, intra-religious and cultural dialogues and round-tables with healing, social and environmental themes.
